Adjustable Tow Hitch with integral recovery eye (R1250,00 incl VAT)

The only tow hitch which we know of which is suitable for recoveries, especially with snatch straps.
It comes with a heavy duty backing plate, chassis supports and all necessary bolts.

The recovery eye was specially designed to accept bow shackles , unlike conventional aftermarket jate rings.  A suitable high tensile bolt is included with the kit.

New: Rear recovery eye with separate backing plate (R616,00  and R92,00 resp.  incl VAT)

This recovery eye is designed for those who would like to keep their genuine LR drop plate.  The recovery eye bolts over the top (spacer is provided).  The TD5 models have welded nuts on the cross member, and the backing plate can not be used.  This backing plate is sold separately for the earlier defender models.
